ABOUT-SP

I remember wanting to bring her something more than just a gift—something meaningful that wasn’t just another generic activity made “for seniors.” I wanted something that would make her feel seen, not just occupied. This deep need is what sparked the idea for a personalized printed care package.

Eventually, I started making custom bundles just for her—handpicked articles she’d enjoy, games she could actually complete, visual elements she could appreciate, and touches of meaning that connected with her history and faith.

That’s where the seed of this project began. But it’s more than that…

It’s also a quiet tribute to my own family—my beloved seniors and ancestors whose dignity, intellect, humor, and stories shaped me, and who deserve to be remembered and honored through actions like this.

Over time, I’ve met other older adults with rich pasts and present needs: some are home alone, others are in nursing homes, or living with family caregivers. Many of them once had vibrant lives filled with friends, careers, passions.

But today, their worlds have shrunk—not just because of age or health—but because their social circles have thinned out. Friends have passed, independence has waned, and they no longer have the ability to simply “go out” and connect like they once did.

When they receive this personalized package, it’s not just “something to do.” It’s a reminder that they still matter. And sometimes, just receiving something in the mail—with their name on it, created just for them—makes all the difference.

This isn’t about academic degrees or professional titles. It’s about recognizing the depth and individuality of each person—whether they spent their life working, parenting, teaching, serving, or simply living fully in their own way.

That’s what this is about.

I’m not offering this service for “seniors.” I’m building it for someone’s mother.  Someone’s grandfather.

For Esther—and for all the brilliant minds and beautiful souls who deserve to feel remembered, not just entertained.
